He lived in Kells in Church Lane, near St. Columbcillis House.BRICKSBricks were made in Loyd outside Kells about a mile from Drumbaragh.
- About 20 years ago there was a man who made a lot of baskets. He lived at the Ballally in Drumbarragh. His name was Mickey Smyth. He used to make them out of kanes and sallys he would twist them together.
When he had them twisted together he pleaste them together and sold them to the people who lived around. He made a lot on money on baskets(continues on next page)- Informant
