Wooden Barrells are still made in the district of Clonmellon.
Long ago all the people used to use noggins, but they are all gone out of date now. My Grannie has one noggin left.
Also long ago they used to thresh their own corn with flails. On a wet day they would spend the whole day threshing with the flail when out door work was impossible.(continues on next page)- Collector
