    Cure of the evil
    It is said that the seventh son has the cure of the evil.
    Cure of nose bleeding
    Put a cold stone to the back of your head and it will keep if from bleeding or put a halfpenny on the roof of your mouth.
    Cure of warts
    If you see a snail and hang him on a bush and when he would wither the warts would go.
    A child born after his father dying is supposed to be lucky.
    Cure of measles
    Get a bunch of nettles and wash the roots and boil them
