    sign of frost. When the stars are flying in the sky it is a sign of rain. When you see the sky blue an clear, it is a sign of good weather. When there is a number of stars in the sky that is a sign of frost. When the sky is cloudy and dark and the sun goes down to bed pale, when the soot falls down the chimney and when there is a rainbow in the sky and when the swallows fly low when the cricket can be heard singing at night that is a sure sign of rain. When the air is dead and heavy that is the sign of a thunder storm. When the sky is covered with clouds and very cold sharp winds are blowing that is a sure sign of a snow storm. To hear a distant bell ring that is a sure sign of rain.
