    A man named Stafford of Billis, Co Cavan, was a great man at making wooden shoes and clogs.
    People do like to wear clogs now-adays because they are sore on the feet.
    Leather was made in Bailieboro, Co Cavan. in a tan-yard by a man named O'Hare. The leather he made was not much good and after a time the trade died out.
