    one year and a half ago, one ot the Rooneys died in Galway. They took him from Galway by motor-hearse to a cemetery outside Kells. There was a large cortege of them, and they had eight motor-cars after the hearse and most of the crowd were drunk, with the exceptions of the drivers.
    One old lady went over to the clergyman and said "Jim is no fool to go down in that hole for you," and it took great persuasion to get the drunks to allow him to be buried. Another of them would say "Poor Jim will never drive the old black horse again."
    Some tin-smiths sell Studs, little pictures, laces, and pins etc.
