men on the road and asked them if they saw a man and "flyers" along the road.
They laughed heartily at him and said that they were a long time coming from Kingscourt Fair and had never seen a funnier sight before.
The "flyers" were standing all together the same as they were on the cart at Andy Alwells* and the man was walking round in side of the "Flyers". He had a rod in his hand and he was shouting and talking to himself and telling the man and the ass to go on or did he expect to keep him on the road all night. So he went back to his own house for the ass and cart and brought home the man and "Flyers" safely.
    * A house near the road between Balloughly and Kingscourt.
