particular year and as usual the fair was held.
But a terrible tale was to be related regarding this fair. Some men were drinking in Nobber hotel. A dispute arose among them, and one man in his fury cut off the head of his combatant. The head flew out the window, and hopped on the street three times saying "Nobber no more on a Monday". This is repeated three times. Since then a fair has never been held in Nobber on a Monday.
