- In a place called Rathgillen in parish of Nobber this story is still told.One night a number of cattle were feeding in a stable. They were tied to a manger, and at midnight the good people as they are called came. They took the manger pole and the cattle that were tied to it out of the shed, and left them in the yard outside. This is quite a true fact not an ordinary story.
There is another story told in Rathgillam: as follows.
A cart was left out in a yard one night, and when the good people's time came they took it and brought it through a narrow(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
