    a big ivy bush and they lay two white eggs. They sit on the eggs for three weeks. The boys are told if they rob the birds nests the birds will come and curse them.
    There are many old stories told about the birds. I heard it said that when crows are seen hovering over the one place that it is a bad sign. It is also said that when the swallows fly near the ground there will be some bad storm. When they fly high up in the air it is a sign of good weather. Stories are told of the robin and how he got his red breast. It is said that when our Saviour was hanging on the cross the robin went to relieve Him and a drop of Blood fell on his breast and every robin has a red breast since.
