    He asked her what she was crying for and she said that a cruel giant had killed her son. Finn started to run after him and soon caught up on him. He asked him to fight and there was a battle between the two. Although the giant was big and fierce and strong Finn won the battle, by his swiftness and skill with the spear that he had learned while hunting. When he killed the giant he found that it was the giant that had killed his father. He also got in the giants possion the Bag of Treasures which the giant had stolen from his father when he killed him. It was full of treasures.

    Long ago a man was coming home from Slane. He lived in Rathkenny. He was passing the wood at Harlinstown. When out from the wood came an animal with a pigs head and only two legs. He was covered over with fur. No one ever found out what the name of this animal was as he was never seen again.
    A farmer once lived in the locality. He kept live stock and cows. This morning he went out to herd the
