  1. There was an old house not too long ago in Ballineal close to Oldcastle. A man named John Flanagan and his wife lived in it. This night a bit of wadding was put in under the door. John was frightened and went into the Priest Fr Barry of Oldcastle with it and he said the world is as thick with spirits as there is grass growing.
