    Some of them go to the market to sell chickens, eggs and butter.
    Long ago there was always a fair held in Finea but it is not held there now because it died out. The population got too small to come to it. It is now held in Kilgola a place outside Finea in Co. Cavan. There is a special fair in Kilgola for horses. When the people have a bargain made they clap their hands to show that the agreement is made and when they are giving the luck penny they spit on it so that it will be lucky. Some people clip the animals ear and others mark the back of the animal sold with mud of the street.
    When the animal was sold if it was an animal that had a halter on him the halter is given also as part of the bargain. If a cattle or sheep or horse or pig buyer hears of a person hears of a
