  1. Long ago there was a woman and she got married and she had a son. After a while the father died leaving the son and mother. Some time afterwards she married again and the stepfather was very cruel to his stepson. When the boy grew up into manhood he was going to join the army when he was going his stepfather said to his stepson. That you may never come back again. Next morning the boy was gone to war, sometime during the day the boy was killed. The following morning the door opened twice the father went to the door but there was no one there. When it opened the third time the mother went and opened it and the boy entered. Immediately the father died. The mother and son lived together afterwards. This story is told by the old people while sitting
