- Under a lone bush in Lynch's field Grangemore Raharney is a pot of gold minded by a large black dog.
At night a fairyman is seen holding the dog. Over the gold is a flat stone and the person that succeeds in lifting it owns the gold.
Men have tried to dig it up various times, but none succeeded. Some misfortune happens to each. One got sick and died, the other lost an eye and the other got a bad wound and died and from that day to this no one touches a lone bush.- Informant
