- To stop bleeding: Cobwebs are put on the wound. A puff ball or kind of mushroom is found in the fields full of powder or dust. The powder is shaken on the wound. The puff ball is called locally a bullfart.
- In Marshey places tall reeds grow with brown soft downey heads. These are called 'Cats' and the down is put on wounds.
