- In Gibson's field there is a ditch. In one spot of the ditch a bush will never grow. If a bush is put into it it is out of it the next day. There is a man supposed to be seen near the spot. There is a drain on the Riverdale road called Quins arch. Long ago there was a man riding a horse. Having come to this drain he got down to give the horse a drink. While the horse was drinking the man fell into the drain and brought the horse with him. A certain time [?] of the man is still to be seen giving the horse a drink.
