Marry in white you have chosena right
Marry in pink your spirits will sink
Marry in red you will wish yourself dead
Marry in black you will wish yourself back
Marry in green ashamed to be seen
Marry in yellow ashamed of your fellowAfter a marriage people rush to see who will be first to kiss the Bride and the person who is first to do so will be next married. - When a widow or widower marry people horn them because they say it is unlucky to get married a second time. Young fellows are prepared beforehand. They blow cows' horns and bottles and this makes a din and noise around the house and heard a long way off. Sometimes when the married couple do not give a "spree" they are horned. This custom is fast dying out and very little is heard of late years.
