Another trick: which can be tested at any part of the year,
A pea-pod containing nine peas is placed behind the door. The first boy to enter the house after this is said to be the husband of the one who places the pod.
    Another Trick
A young girl counts each white horse she sees until she has counted one 100. The first boy with who she shakes hands, after having reached that number, is he, to whom, she will give her hand for life.
