There is a stone in Durrow near the old Cross where St. Colmcille had his Monastery there is a hole in the stone, it is said if the head was left into it it would cure any headache.
Backache.
Anyone who is able to span St. Colmcille's Cross would be cured
Wildfire
Anyone who would lick an Arc Luachin would be cured.
Whooping cough
To cure this get a piece of bread from two people of the same name who get married, and eat.
Ringworm
There is a woman in this parish who cures ringworm by rubbing a gold ring on the effected parts and saying special prayers. The patient must visit her on certain days of the week.
