    The maker of the ointment picks the herbs in the ditch, washes them, boils them into a kind of pulp, chops them finely and lastly mixes them through the heated lard. This mixture is them allowed to cool and applied as said to the ringworm sore, care been taken to put some ointment particularly on the edges of the sore.
    It takes about 21 days using the ointment twice daily night and morning to cure ringworm, especially if it has spread over the hand or face.
