  1. It is said that Saint Fintan was buried in the moat at Bernard Smith's. There is a holy well in my townland called after Saint Fintan. There comes a lot of pilgrims to it every year on the first three Sundays in August.
    In Melkernagh there was a pot found by Pat Gavagan of Rinroe. He found it very deep down in the bog. He sold it to the Museum in Dublin for eighty pounds. It is made of three plates visibly seen from the outside. There are two ears to which are
