    And it is surrounded by big stones and there is a stream running out of it into a river. Everytime there was a missioner in Ballymacargy, he went to this well, and took a drink out of it many times with a flask or some vessell. When he had done he stood ovver it for nearly an hour praying and blessing it. and he blessed it each time he came to it.
    There is another well called Tobar Dub as it is very black. It is in Davis field now owned by a man named Brennan and the water is used for al purposes. There is another well called Tobar of badam.
    There is another well caalled St Bridgets well and it is a cure for al things and it is in the paddock about two miles from Ballymaccargy.
