  1. Ten or twelve men sit around in a ring. One man has a thimble in his hand and he goes around them all. Each man has to close his eyes and open his hands. The thimble man pretends to be putting the thimble into his hands. He lets it drop into one of their hands but that man has not to tell anybody else. The thimble man then asks who has the thimble. If a person fails to name the right one he gets a stroke of a stick.
