  1. As round as an apple, as plump as a ball, ban climb the church, over steeple and all? The sun.
What is it always walks with its head down? A nail in your foot.
What's full and holds more? A pot full of potatoes when you pour water in.
    Headed like a thimble,
    Tailed like a rat
    You may guess for ever
    But you couldn't guess that!
    A pipe.
Patch upon patch, without any stitches.
Riddle me that, and I'll buy you a pair of breeches? A cabbage.
What do we often catch but never see? A passing remark.
Why is the sun like a good loaf? Because it is light when it rises.
Why is a promise like wine? Because it improves by being kept.
What crack is invisible to the naked eye? The crack of a whip.
Why is a wet umbrella like fat? Because it is dripping.
