    get four saucers on the table with water on one, clay on another and a cross on another and a ring on another. The person blindfolds his eyes and if he leaves his hand on the water he will be going across the sea before the year is out. If he leaves it on the beads he will be a priest, if he leaves it on the clay he will be dead before the year is out.
    The children get a tub of water and put sixpence into it and they tie their hands behind their backs and dive for the sixpence in the water.
