About one hundred years ago the ruins of an old church stood in Cloontuskert, Co. Roscommon. One day the walls fell and people named Fallon went to look at it. After some time walking about it they were surprised to find a jar of gold amongst the stones.
This treasure was supposed to be put in this wall for safety by the Danes when the Irish were pursuing them.(continues on next page)- Collector
