- Once upon a time there was a man riding a horse through a wood and he saw a fairy. He got down off the horse and caught the fairy and put him sitting on the horse in front of him and brought him home. The leipreachán stayed for three days and the man couldn't get him to speak a word. It is said they have a crock of gold. Many people try to get it. They are dressed with a red hat and green clothes.
