    hours struggle Clonguish won by one point. They got a grand set of medals for winning that match and my father showed me the one he got.
    Another time they played Drumlish in a field that is now owned by Mr McGarry and when the final whistle went Drumlish were one goal in the lead. Clonguish went up to Killoe to play for a set of medals and after a hard fight Clonguish won by one point. Killoe disputed the point and so Clonguish agreed to a replay. The relay was fixed for the Castle Lawn. Before a very large crowd Clonguish defeated Killoe by the big score of four goals nine points to one point.
    The team consisted of seventeen players, there was a goalkeeper and the other sixteen were in lines of four. they wore white jerseys with the letters -
