A red sky denotes storm or frost.
A blue sky denotes good weather.
The sun is always hot before thunder or snow.
When the sun is red when setting in Autumn or the beginning of winter it is the sign of frost.
When the moon is clouded it is a sign of rain, and when there is a circle round it, it also denotes rain.
When it is bright it denotes frosty weather.
When the sky is covered with stars it denotes rain.
In good weather there are not as many stars visible to the eye.(continues on next page)
