    butter of the milk. I often heard the old people say that you would have bad luck if you went into a house where there is churning and go out without taking a brash of the churn. If the weather is very cold and the butter to be soft then the people say that the butter is winded and if the butter is very hard in hot weather they say the butter is frosted.
    I heard this from my father aged 50 years.
