    which is now owned by a Mr Mc Inertney. Convenient to this fort - which by the way was supposed to be inhabited by fairies there was a house wherein dwelt a man and his wife. Now those people had a child. It was twelve years at this time but was just like an infant and had an enormous appetite. The parents were frightened out of their wits carrying food to him and the more he got the more he wanted. One day the father went to the local blacksmith to get shoes on his horse. The blacksmith asked him if he had the child still. The father replied he had and and that he did not know how he would get rid of him. The smith told him to go home as fast as he could when his horse would be shod and when he would be a half a mile from his home to gallop his horse until he would reach home and then to say that Morris' fort was on fire and see what would happen. He also asked him if the fort could be seen
