- Birds are common to all countries. There are some birds which migrate from one country to another, such as the cuckoo, the swallow, the corncrake, and other small birds.
The birds most common to our district are, the blackbird, thrush wren, robin, wagtail and goldfinch. None of these migrate. They all build their nests here, and bring out their young.
