    Friday for crosses, and Saturday no day at all.
    It is unlucky to change from one house to another on Saturday because Saturday flitting means a short sitting.
    Monday and Thursday are the two days in which ringworm is cured.
    Strains are cured on Tuesdays. February is a lucky month to start ploughinge and there should be some potatoes set before the first of March or Saint Patrick's Day.
