    When the midges fly about people and animals on a Summer's day its the sign of rain.
    When there are white and red stripes on the sky
    goats whiskers they are called its the sign of storm
    When the swallows fly low its a sign of rain
    When the curlews cry loudly it is a sign of rain.
    In summer when the lake looks black it is a sign of bad weather.
    When the black birds, crows, robins light on bushes and on the ground its a sign of storm.
    When dogs are dull and lie in hiding places it is a sign of a thunder storm.
    When cats cough or have their backs to the fire it is a sign of rain.
