    with letters engraved on it. His master read on the stone that there was a "Crock of Gold" hidden underneath, but he would not allow his workman to dig any more of it as he was afraid.
    It is said that the "Good People" had put the "Crock of Gold" there, and no one has interfered with it since. A rabbit is supposed to be always guarding it, and would jump up on your face if you went near it. If you tried to catch the rabbit you would get a terrible fall.
