    When the sheep are feeding very early in the morning it is a bad sign of the weather.
    When they come looking for shelter it is a sign of storm.
    When the crows fly downwards it is another sign of storm.
    If it rains on St Swithin's day, it will rain for forty days without ceasing.
    Wet Friday, wet Sunday.
    Sunday is always fine in broken weather.
