    During the selling of the cattle there is much excitement of the business. Men gather around shouting and clapping each others hands until the last and best offer has been made, and usually some one steps in and says "Split the difference," so that ends the squabble and the price has at last been reached.
    In some cases luck-money is given usually one or two schillings on each animal. The animals are marked with raddle, this is usually done to sheep, and cattle are clipped with a scissors.
