    go by the place. The Priest jumped down, looked about everywhere, but could not see anything. Then he looked between the horse's ears, and began to pray. To his surprise a tall young girl stood on the road before him, and immediately disappeared.
    The horse took fright and started to gallop, and never stopped until he had reached home. It is said that the vision seen by the Priest was a young girl who once lived in that locality and had been drowned in Lough Gowna. It is
