Leitrim is another which means 'grey ridge' and also Grafog which means 'grubbed land'.
There are others called Coolarty which means 'back of Artys hill' and Clonbroney which means Bronachs Lawn.
There is a townland near to this school called Ballywillan.
There is a lot of history in connection with it.
Cormac Mac Art was the first man to have a mill
When he saw his servant girl working hard trying to grind oats, he sent abroad for a miller and a Goban Saor, who built him the mill.
He died in the seventh century and he was born in Dublin.
The Goban Saor was the best builder in Ireland.
