    It is said it will cure a corn to let a dog lick it.
    The cure for a sore throat is to heat salt and apply it to the neck.
    It is said that if you gather the first new year's snow, and the person to get a burn they should put some of the snow water on the sore and you would not find it anymore.
    ASH-The bark of the ash tree is used as a lascative especially with children. The leaves are used to cure gout and rheumatism.
    ANISEED- is used for wind pains and for coughs.
    BLACKBERRY- leaves are are useful in cases of diarrhoea.
    CHAMOMILE flowers and gentian are used as a tonic. The farmer with crushed poppy heads and used as a poltice for abscesses and swellings. It is also used for a headache.
