This old man saved our lives and we became his sons and lived with him in his hut. The king gave them two crocks of gold and sent them home to their father and his two daughter's for their two wives. Their father and mother was very lonely during the absence of their sons and when they heard they were coming they went gladly to meet them and all lived happily after.
This story was told to Susanna Reid, Killasonna N.S. by her father Patk Reid, Killasonna, aged about 67
