    awoke at last and said "What made you waken me", "O king" said his friends "you have slept a long time and the dinner is long over. The king seemed to be very lonely. His friends did not know what was wrong and could say nothing. After that the king become very cross. He hunted and rode no more. His feast's went on but he was never there. Music he would not hear. He seemed to care nothing about his kingdom. All he wanted was to stay in his own room and sleep and sleep. In his sleep he often smiled but as soon as he wakened he was sad again.
