    jumped up and told them that if he had to known they were coming he would have wrung the bell and he told them to wait and not bury the corpse until he would call the person down. They would not let Tommie call the person but thanked him very much. He helped them dig the grave and bury the corpse. So they thanked Tommie very much and gave him a rod when they were going telling him that no matter what he would strike with it, it turned into anything he liked. Next morning Tommie went down to the person. The person bid him good morning and asked him how he got during the night' 'I got on all right' said Tommy. 'But there came a funeral I was going to come up for you but they would not let me". "What time did the funeral come" said the parson
