    the river is a sign of good weather. When the river is low it is a sign of continued good weather. If you can see your reflection in the pools on the road it is a sure sign of rain.
    When the birds fly low it is a sign of rain. If the airbirds are seen rolling in the dust on the road in Summer it is a sure sign of rain. When the blackbirds come very near the houses it is a sign that a storm is coming.
    When the cat washes behind her ears it is a sign of rain. If the cat sits with her back to the fire it is the sign of a storm. When a dog eats grass it is a sign of rain. When the cattle gather to the top of a hill to rest for the night it is a sign of good weather.
    If the geese or hens fly along the ground, it is a sign of high wind. Pigs are very restless before high wind. When the cow shakes herself on the byre it is a sign of a storm. When the ducks quack loudly it is a sign of rain. When the seagulls come
