    forge water. This water is believed to be a cure for warts. It is said that anyone who washed in forge water would be made stronger.
    Long ago when the people got their oaten meal from the mill they always gave some of it to the smith. They always gave him milk and butter when he would not have any of his own.
    This was told to me by Mrs. Smith, Cloonaghmore, aged 80 years.
