  1. One night two men and two women were coming home from Arva. The night got very dark. Rain began to fall. When they were coming on to the country bridge they heard talk and shuffling on the far side of the river. The women wanted the men to get down and go into the field that there was a man in the river. The men were afraid to go in. The next morning they heard that there was a man found dead in the river.
