    the weather by hearing it from a wireless or from seeing it in the daily papers but some time ago when wirelesses and news papers were not so common the people knew all about the weather by a lot of different signs of their own. Here are some of these signs. When the sky is red in the morning it is the sign of a good day and when it is red in the evening it is the sign of a bad day.
    Another sign is when a cat sits with her back to the fire it is the sign of a storm and when a cat scrapes wood with her paw it is the sign of rain.
