  1. The name of the townland I live in is Killeen. It is in the parish of Legan and in the barony of Ardagh. There are seventeen families in the townland, and there are about eighty people living in it. Kelly is the most common family name. Most of the houses are built of a mixture of stone and mud, and are mostly one storey and are thatched with straw.
