    Anyhow he was not long asleep till he heard a heavy step upstairs and down comes a big giant and a little fairyman and one of them at each side of him began to shove and the man said - "If yous are going to kill me can't you kill me decent and don't go frighten the life out of me.".
    As soon as he said that the two of them jumped up and the giant told the man that there was a crock of gold under the flags in the stable for him in the morning.
